Gathering all information and requirements from Host and Hostess
and the Bride and Bridegroom. Liaison with other providers at
the reception
The toastmaster will:
Meet and greet all guests;
Liaise with other providers at the reception;
Ensure timings are kept;
Ensure guests are kept informed of procedures.
The Toastmaster will organise the:
Bridal party receiving line;
Entrance of the guests and Bridal Party;
Formal Entry of the Bride and Bridegroom into banqueting hall/area;
Announcement of Grace;
Correct introduction of speakers etc.;
Ceremony of cutting the cake;
Formal Exit of the Bride and Bridegroom.
Banquets and Dinner Dances
Company and organisation dinner/dances presented and delivered
according to traditional principles and related to clients' demands.
Prior detailed planning is required between event secretaries
and toastmaster.
Barmitzvahs
Thorough and detailed preparation made in conjunction with parents
of Bar mrtzvah and with the Rabbi in attendance.
Burns Nights
Correct procedures are followed to include the entry of the 'Beastie'
and the traditional accolades / toasts.
Civic Ceremonial Functions
Lords Mayors, celebrations and annual events including banquets,
receptions, inaugurations, etc. All correct protocol observed
and correct preambles arranged for all introductions and speakers
with full consultation with principal organisers.
Charity Balls
Also catered for are the Round Table, the Rotary Club and the
Lions functions with consultations with secretaries.
Ladies' / Gentlemen's Masonic Festivals
Established traditional procedures followed and clients' wishes
respected. Thorough research and liaison with organisation secretaries
and with venue providers. Confidences observed implicitly.
